This would be a blessing. They raised our rent, no notice, and it's been a brutal year.

I would be blesses to get this. I am homeless, living in my car with one other person and our emotional support pup (7lb Kokoni). This would help with getting our pup some food. I work and we are in line to get jobs over the next week or so whenever they start training at our new place of employment. We have been working with an organization since April to find us housing and have been looking at different apartments and applied for a few of them and have been rejected because of a credit score......why should this even be a factor? I have multiple jobs and some sources of incomes on the side but this is ridiculous. I can pay rent or a mortgage but my credit has been fxxked ever since my mother passed 15 years ago and my father ruined my credit....but that's a story for another day....

Well my old truck could use an oil change that at 63 I still do myself. That's about $40 where I live for filter and oil. The other $10 I would use for gas. My wife has been having a hard time lately with her health problems and is needing to get to her doctor a little more often than used to. She has insurance and we can afford the copay and medication but my old truck needs some care to keep getting her there. We have food stamps and a small garden so we don't need food but boy has the price of oil went up! I hate more than anything to ask anyone for anything but sometimes we all need help. I just want to start by saying thank you for doing this, it is great to see that there are still nice people out there.

It could honestly just help cover a few bills, I have been on sick leave since May 2023 and am not being paid a lot through disability pay and it has been a pretty stressful few months.
