What is an audience? An audience is a TV station. You sit in front of the TV wanting to be entertained It's one-way communication, it's broadcast Once you have an audience, you can convert a portion to a community through rituals and habits like IRL events, Q&As, web3 etc

How do you know when you have a community that's working? Keep an eye on retention (how often people come back) and engagement (how often people contribute) You'll see it go up if there is community/market fit There is real ROI in community
